Tandem Fryslân

Tandem Fryslân has been developed around Leeuwarden-Fryslân 2018 (LF2018), European Capital of Culture. With iepen mienskip (open community) as a central theme, LF2018 focuses on cultural interventions that can encourage new approaches to the challenges faced by this rural region of the Netherlands. Tandem Fryslân will facilitate the exchange of similar experiences across wider Europe. The programme stimulates the search for innovative solutions, by building long-term collaborations between cultural actors working in Fryslân and other regions in wider Europe.

Tandem Fryslân is ontstaan rondom Leeuwarden-Fryslân 2018 (LF2018), Culturele Hoofdstad van Europa. Met iepen mienskip (open gemeenschap) als centraal thema richt LF2018 zich op culturele interventies omtrent de uitdagingen waarmee deze plattelandsregio worstelt. Met Tandem Fryslân zetten we aan tot uitwisseling van soortgelijke ervaringen binnen Europa. We stimuleren de zoektocht naar innovatieve oplossingen door duurzame samenwerkingen te bouwen tussen culturele actoren in Fryslân en andere regio’s in het grotere Europa.

Tandem Fryslân slút oan by Leeuwarden-Fryslân 2018 (LF2018), Kulturele Haadstêd fan Europa.
