Digital shift is all around us, offering almost unlimited possibilities for group collaboration, with reduced ecological footprint, with different possibilities of participation, more time saved. Yes, we do need “classical” offline contact, but along with that we also need more practice of effective group work online, with our teams, communities that we used to work with, or communities that we can reach through online facilitation.

Facilitation is an approach of easing group processes. It helps to make discussions, debriefing and decision-making more effective and enables transparent and enjoyable group processes. Although “born” offline, facilitation can be practised effectively online – and not less effectively. If you are already on your way to facilitating online with your team, or the community you are working with, and need advice, exchange ideas and generate new ones, join this school.

In collaboration with horizontal school, implemented by MitOst e.V. and co-created by the network of Theodor-Heuss-Kolleg, Tandem is offering a training on Online facilitation, tailor-made for the Tandem community. Up to 20 spaces for taking part in the training are available and we think it is a great opportunity to (re)connect with other members of the Tandem family and exchange with each other.

  • you are facilitating online sessions and need new ideas for involvement of participants
  • you are planning to facilitate online in the future and are looking for guidance

Your Trainers

Marta Gawinek Dagargulia, a cosmopolitan and diversity lover since birth, educator and facilitator for already 15 years with a very intense experience of online facilitation. Her professional passion fields are lifelong learning, civic education and development of key competencies for the working environments of tomorrow. She is an experienced project manager and team lead who has created spaces for empowering individuals and communities in Georgia, Central Europe and Germany. She is the co-author of Competendo, an open source toolbox for competency-centered learning. She is fluent in Polish, English, Russian, German and Georgian.

Tino Rasche originally studied physics in Germany and Russia. Nevertheless, he is more passionate about values and critical thinking now, and how to make it clear that this is very connected to nature, as science has proven. As a facilitator he is composing educational spaces for diversity-conscious value-based cooperation of individuals, teams, and organisations. He is passionate about finding creative solutions by combining various areas of life (philosophy, natural and social sciences, economics, education, health, language, music, technics, theatre…) with an active personal attitude. Currently, he is a local in Düsseldorf together with his wife and daughter spending his spare time playing (beach) volleyball.
