The Maujeh Project The Maujeh/MOŽE Project is a culture and arts initiative sparked by a Tandem Shaml encounter of culture managers representing The Sultanate of Oman and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Maujeh aims to exchange cultural knowledge between different partners in the forum starting with a collaboration between the Zenica-Based healthy aging association Naš Most and Naša Djeca (Radio Active) station for youth and Arab Gulf based podcast TaraTalks. Through a radio program and workshops, the project hopes to inspire connections between the two communities, and to spread awareness about how art and culture can influence healthcare positively. The word Maujeh has a double meaning, in Arabic, Maujeh means ‘wave’ and in Bosnian it means ‘that’s ok’ or ‘go ahead’. This would be the first documented cultural exchange between these two countries.
