Call for artist CALL FOR (AR)TIST – Augmented Reality Workshop You can apply now for this workshop that expands the concept of urban art through augmented reality by encouraging the emergence of a new kind of artistic language between physical and digital world. The event takes place in Palermo from 2-4 December 2016. Applications are open until 28 November. Bepart, in collaboration with PUSH, Tandem Europe, Mjestimice svjetlo and the GAM – Modern Art Gallery of Palermo and the Scuola Politecnica of the University of Palermo, will hold an alternative workshop to know the Street Art of the old town of Palermo and to make original art installations in augmented reality (AR) for the urban spaces. The topic of the event is Urban Art. Learning activities include making and sharing creative digital art works that can be seen in the online platform of Bepart – the public imagination movement. The event will be held Palermo in Via Sant’Anna 21, on 2-4 December 2016. Friday, 2 December 3.30 pm > 6 pm Saturday, 3 December 9.30 am > 6 pm Sunday, 4 December 9.30 am > 6 pm The workshop, free and open to everyone, is recommended to students and professionals of art, graphic and design. Since we will work with multimedia contents (pictures, animated GIF, 3D models and videos), a basic knowledge of graphic softwares is required. Applications are open until 28 November 2016.
