Museum Pfyn

Zeitgarten and the Transitory Museum at Pfyn are art projects by Alex Meszmer and Reto Müller. While Zeitgarten creates a collection and communication point for the histories and stories of the Pfyn community; the Transitory Museum at Pfyn is a living, ever changing museum which deals with fundamental questions about history and stories, culture, time, collection and with reflections on the legacy of our culture. The projects invite citizens of Pfyn to share their personal history and memories, in the form of video interviews, letting us scan and archive their private photos, texts or take photos of special items. This work formed the digital Zeitgarten photo archive of about 5000 photos and is the basis of additional archives. Zeitgarten and TM@P regularly work together with international artists and show aspects of their archives in Pfyn and abroad.
