El Akl Theatre Festival Dawar El Fnoon(Minya, Egypt) and Terra Nova Productions(Belfast, Northern Ireland) produced the El Akl Theatre Project in Minya and Belfast from Feb-July 2017. The project worked with emerging artists during two ten-day workshops in Belfast and Minya to develop live and filmed theatre, inspired by ideas around food and power. The project cummulated in the El Akl Theatre Festival in Minya during July. Tom has produced, written and directed over 50 theatre productions. Specialising in both post conflict and intercultural theatre. Tom is also an acting trainer and provides workshops for emerging artists.
