RE-Lab: Research and Residency in Spacemaking

The project, "RE-Lab" aims to create a bridge between two significant towns as Madrid and Kadikoy, with the help of reading local urban politics, checking the pulse of participatory projects in both cities and spacemaking processes that began to be supported by local institutions.

Onur Atay is an architect and researcher studying visual culture of cities. He is currently working on the methodologies of civic participation in local urban projects. He has been supervising architectural and urban participative projects and workshops in Design Atelier Kadikoy, which is a non-profit public research-development space.
