Night Plays (working Title)

Lokstoff! and Altdan Sonra form a co-production of a contemporary theatre play in public space. The play will take place in a public space common to most cultures, e.g. a street block or a train station. Four characters tell their stories, their mutual ground being experiences at night. The authors and actors are German and Tu rkish as well as the planning, directing and organizing team. While lokstoff! is experienced in working in public spaces, this type of performing arts is new to Turkey. It reflects upon the relationship of «privacy» and «public» i n large cities, and as such in contemporary German and Tu rkish urban culture.
