The Moddergat experience The Moddergat Museum of Double Mudden Plates Catherine Charlety from Les Pas Perdus in Marseille and Willy Bergsma from Stichting Met Kunst Meer Mens in Leeuwarden joined forces during Tandem Fryslan on their project Moddertij / Marée de boue, during which three artists from Marseille came to visit the Wadden Sea region. On the Frysian coast of the Wadden Sea, the three artists of the Marseilles based artistic group Les Pas Perdus discovered the esthetics of Moddergat-Paesans and other villages around in Fryslân region. The Moddergat experience Together with the team of Met Kunst Meer Mens, their Tandem organisation – who has the strong wish to develop a large-scale collaborative art project in this area – they intend to invite the inhabitants and all those who want to participate to a long, playful and creative collaborative process. This will be a meeting of different esthetics from the Mediterranean coast and the Wadden Sea.
